forgot i had this (poorly photocopied) zine on sobriety that i picked up from the wooden shoe a year or two ago. it’s super interesting from what i remember- with chapters on “patriarchal masculinity and intoxication”, “oppression and anesthesia”, “youth liberation and sobriety”, “intoxication and corporate culture”, and various stories. i’m going to read through it again tonight- you can read it online here, if you care.

this is such a great read

I think punks should put down the thesaurus and start writing more naturally. A heaving, dry title like “Patriarchal Masculinity and Intoxication” does not entice me to read.
